john deere 567 round baler

Just bought a 06 John deere 567 baler with net wrap and mega wide pickup and was wounder if the 567 still has the problem of the net wraping around the rubber roller like the jd 535? Any help and tip that you may have on the 567 would be nice.

yes it sure will , if it has the newer laces thats a big + over the 535 , be sure n use the spacer blocks on each end of the wrap cus if it slides over the wrap wont be over the lil finger that runs the cut off

Are you talking about the rubber rolls in the net wrap feeder? Never had problem in that area. Top roller in the bale chamber a different matter. Oversize bales are the culprit of this problem.

Thanks guy. Yes I am talking about the rubber feed rollers. On my 535 I had to use the talc lube from jd to prevent that from happening. About the roll spacer I am going to use up my 64 inch net roll before buying a wider one so where can I get the spacers from and do I need them on all rolls?

I only put talcum (baby) powder on the Netwrap rubber feed roller on my 467 on high humidity days or when installing a new roll of wrap. I get my baby powder from grocery store. On my 467 one needs the spacers foe Edge-to-edge but no spacers for Cover-edge wrap.

New rolls have a plastic insert in the ends. Take two of them and tape them together back to back and use these on each end. I don't use cover-edge wrap at all. Makes it hard to unwrap netting from bales set on edge to feed.

I agree that setting Coveredge bales on the flat end makes Netwrap hard to remove. But why set bales on the flat side to soak up moisture similar to a sponge? That defeats the idea of a rd bale.

I agree with u. I make single rows and butt
them together and only a inch or so gets
spoiled. Works for me but I would like to store
them inside some day.
