changing the brake pads and messed up some rivets. got the right tool, but now I'm short some rivets. anyone know how to do this brake job? is the correct rivet size for replacements 7-5 semi-tubular? i keep getting the wrong size. too long! Kathy

I got a batch from McMaster Carr. Didn't need 100 but they were cheap enough. Some local hardware store will carry them. Of course after I got them I later found a jarful that the FIL had stashed away. I didn't have the proper tool and using a 90 degree center punch caused them to split. I found using a flat drift punch straight down till they buckled a little, then the center punch, made a nice flare.
