I bought a old 6000 sprayer with the rear folding X wing booms and I am wanting to replace them with front folding booms. The 6000 sprayers have one way cylinders and valves and I need two way cylinders and valves for my booms. I replaced the original valve with a two way valve but I can?t get it to lower the cylinders. They raise fine but won?t lower. I know some people have put front fold booms with two way cylinders on these sprayers. Any help would be appreciated.

Somebody must know ? Without looking at a hydraulic flow chart I don?t know as the only places I?ve ever seen those sprayer is in picture books

I have had several 6000 sprayers and they have double acting cylinders. They fold out and retract.I did have one that had a front folding that used existing cylinders.I still have one for pastures fence rows and and ditches.
