John Deere 6415

I have a 6415 that has a fuel leak and looses it prime after a few hours and will not start unless it’s re primed. What is the best way to find the leak in the fuel system? And how do I prime the fuel system when it’s repaired?

Is it leaking externally somehwere??

A lot of tractors from that era used fuel lines that had something like a cotton braided outer layer. Those fuel lines are notorious for going bad. I've seen it more than once where the fuel lines will be just a little damp and not actually drip but leak enough to suck air and cause the problem you're having.
