John Deere 6603

[Sniffer 1]

I have a John Deere 6603 I was mowing hay the other day I took it out of gear and got out for a minute. I got back in a the tractor won t go into gear. The range shifter works but the 3 gears and reverse won t go in to gear. Any ideas?

Hello sniffer welcome to YT. In the linked JD parts
diagram go to diagram line 46 and click on it. At
the bottom of the shifter there looks to be a number of
bolts, pins and linkages that could come loose, break
or fall out. I do not know how much you can access by
pulling the boot up. I assume since you said ..you got
out.. that you have a cab. Line 4 shows the internal
parts of the shifter which probably requires a lot more
work to get to.
