John deere 720 lp

i have a johndeere 720 lp that seems to burn too much fuel too quick so i was wondering what could i do to stop that

Find the leak, if its using that much it wouldn't be running right.

Do you have the JD Technical Manual for it? It will have a (long) list of differential diagnoses for you to work this problem of high fuel consumption.

it does seem to have a small leak somewhere cause we can smell it but i was thinking something else would be wrong because of how much gas it uses for small tasks
