Anybody know the front axle capacity?

Are you looking for how much oil it holds or how much weight it can support?

I found the 790 front axle holds 2.25 quarts, should be close to your 850. Go by the dip stick, if that is what you are looking for.

The oil capacity is what I was looking for. It seems it would hold a lot more than that since the spindle case is large like a ym240. I am just adding it slow and rechecking after several hours. Thanks for the info.

I know the Yanmar 276D manual shows it's axle holds 6.3 quarts. Just a tad larger tractor than the John Deere 850.
