John Deere 851 Hay Rake

Need to replace left tire (gearbox side) on JD 851 hay rake and without repair manual I'm not sure where to take apart in order to remove rim and tire. Any help would be appreciated!

Go to (The JD AG bookstore) https://techpubs.deere.com/

Click on Equipment Publications.

On the next page enter 850 in the box next to Model Search (I believe you have to use 850 as it is a group of rakes and the 851 appears to be part of that group) and search.

You should get a list of the machines with 850 in the name. Select Rakes. You should see the Operator's Manual listed and to the right it should say Down load with no price beside it. You can download and save it for free, then print it off if you want.

There is assembly info in that manual that should give you the info you need to remove the tire.
