John Deere 930 MOCO

I was looking at buying a john deere 930 discbine and was wanting to know the problems, if any, with john deere mowers or this model. any problems to look out for? Any input would be great.

I have a 920 (same series but one disc less) with impellers. It has been very good, I've mowed a lot and never had a problem. The downside is the power that it takes. I think impellers take more power than rolls, but I run it with a good 100hp tractor and in first cutting I can't go very fast. In very heavy hay it is frustrating becuase even with 100 hp it seems slower than my old 9' haybine with a 50 hp tractor.
