I don't collect harleys,but i do have a 2001 sportster that i ended up with on a trade, i don't ride it too much, but like the 2 cylinder deeres,i could listen to it idle all day...

Kinda of topic but not really;
Did John Deere ever make a dirt bike?
I heard rumor of one but have never seen one. I’m more of a dirt bike kinda guy and would love to have a JD dirt bike.

I don't really like harleys to be quite honest. Too fat, cumbersome, and noisy.

I ride crotch rockets.

Kinda made one.
Before AMF almost took Harley under, they had the Harley name on some enduro bikes made in Italy. We had two of them. 125cc, 2 stroke.
They were kind of cheaply built, but we put a few miles on them and had lots of fun.
Of course they made snowmobiles and minibikes also.
