Can you change a john deere corn planter model 7000 too 30 in rows?

Should be able to do that. Start in the middle with a tape measure and marker pen. 1st row would be 15" from center, then 30" after that.

I Have a 6 row narrow John Deere 7000 planter with components that date to 1976. I think there is two different main frames. One for wide row spacing and one for narrow. I think the placement of the transmission for seed population is different. If you measure it out like Mark stated above you will quickly see what will work. Steve.

Probably not. I think the difficulty is not with location of the seed drive, but location of the wheels. You can view (free of charge) or purchase an operator's manual here.
