John Deere engines

My inquiry is to find out how 8.1l and 7.6l engines John Deere produced

Hello TA welcome to YT. Curious what this knowledge
gains you? Just looking at serial number info on tractor
data.com. I looked at the 8200, 8300, 8400 and 8320.
It looks to me a good estimated number is about
30,000 units per model run. Those were produced in
the mid to late 90s. So many more tractor models have
been built since then. Then add combines, sprayers,
cotton pickers along with other industrial power unit
applications the number gets up there. Based on this a
highly uneducated guess of the total for both those
engines together is in the 300-500,000 range. We
shall see if anyone will dispute this guesstimate.
