John Deere G 3-point hitch conversion?

First time posting (hello!), and I'm brand new to John Deere. I did a keyword search and didn't come up with what I was looking for, so I hope I'm not offending anyone by asking:

Where can I go for a conversion for my John Deere G, serial number near 15,000. I found a couple online (Steiner and one other), but I'm having trouble finding a kit that will fit my serial number (there seems to be some differentiation in the G around 18000). I'd be OK with either original or aftermarket. Just looking for something that'll allow me to use newer 3-point implements.

I do appreciate any help you can offer.

Serial numbers near 15,000 indicate a GM built in the late spring of 1945, a 1945 model.
If your GM has a powr-lift, instead of a power-trol, you won't be happy with the operation.
A powr-lift is either up or down, no control in between.
Another consideration is the drawbar, especially if you have the roller style used before s/n 18,700.
So in evaluating aftermarket 3 point hitches, you will have to determine if what's offered will fit.

Thanks for the reply. Indeed, sir, it's a GM from June 1945. I [i:2c0072502d]believe[/i:2c0072502d] it's a trol--it doesn't do just up or down with nothing in between.
