Where is the battery located on a 1946 model G John Deere Tractor??

I"m not sure on the years but if it doesn"t have the seat with the battery underneath (square box) then it should be located between the frame in front of the valve cover

Under the seat. The cushion comes out of the seat frame.

46 should be a GM , it goe between the frame in front of the valve cover
