John Deere G Split pedestal

I have a 1952 G with a Split pedestal. We have a wide front on the tractor. Looking to find a Rollamatic that will bolt on. I understand that I have to find a rollamatic that came off a late model G, A and B. Anyone know where to find a Rollamatic front end for my G.

Not quite sure why you would want to convert your GW to a narrow front G. I have a wide front G and there are fewer of those then narrow fronts if I'm not mistaken.. Tom in Mn

A Roll-O-Matic "Extension, Spindle" PN AA4935R from a JD G, A, 60, and 70 are interchangeable. I did not look up the 20 and 30 series tractors, but I believe the 620, 720, 630, and 730 spindles should also be interchangeable. An "Extension, Spindle" from a JD B and 50 will not work for your application. I believe some of the split pedestal spindles from the New Generation tractors will also bolt up.
There is a difference in the bolt holes on the knuckle cap that denotes a heavy duty knuckle from a standard for the later generation tractors. I believe this change started with the 620 and 720 series row crops tractors. So if you wanted to stay correct you would want a knuckle that used only three bolts to secure the cap. Not a 4 bolt.

AA4935R subs to AR28247 which fits 20 & 30 series tractors plus New Generation tractors(20-40 series)
