John Deere G starter ??

While digging through some shelves in the back room my friend came across a starter and asked if I'd put it on ebay for him.
He used to have a starter/generator/alternator rebuilding business and a gentleman brought it in to rebuild. That was over 10
years ago and he hasn't picked it up yet so we don't think he'll show.
It' a rebuilt delco remey # 1108944 39024 And supposed to be a John Deere G. Can anyone tell from the numbers if that is
correct. We don't want to advertise it and it's not actually a G. I tried searching the numbers and couldn't determine anything

All I find for styled "G" tractors is; 1108919, it doesn't show up in the "A" or "B" parts cats either, maybe someone with a Delco-Remy catalog can cross reference it.

Can't help with the numbers but the A took a top mount on some and the starter will interchange with the G. As far as selling it they do not bring big money on there. I am sure the G had its own number.

My rebuild catalog lists 1108944 delco starter fits McCormick WD-9, 1952-56.
