John Deere M

M's came out in 1947. Check your serial number against the list on the left column for the correct year as there were a few changes. They show up un ebay regularly.

1947 & 1948 are identical in appearance and 1949 had a slight change in the support wedges but will work fine. Most should have had the pivot shaft update with bushings installed. Those rubber torsion springs didn't last long. BTW - these things aren't very expensive on ebay from most sellers so be carefull. JMO
