I have a 1952 JD model M that belonged to my father who bought it in 1955, I also have a 2 bottom plow and a 7 ft belly mount sickle mower for it that came with it when he bought it from the JD dealer in 1955. The tin on trhis tractor doesn't have a dent anywhere, but the motor is stuck, tires like new, any one have any idea what it should be worth? He farmed 30 acres 15 of it cleared so very few hours on this tractor.

The value of your tractor can vary some what depending on where you are located. If you can get it running and cleaned up and the sheet metal is as you say and the paint is fairly good I think it should be worth about $3000.00 with the attachments.

I paid $2,000 for my 1950 MT a year ago in good running condition with good sheet metal. It had been repainted about 15 years ago and still looked good. It ran great after a basic tune up. I also got a 2 bottom plow and No.5 sickle bar mower with the tractor.

I'd say anywhere between $1,000 and $2,000 not running. Pictures would help out a bit.
