My dad recently passed away and was the owner of a John Deere Model D tractor. We would like to sell for my mother but we have no idea of what a tractor like this sells for or where to begin. Any help greatly appreciated.

Year it was made makes a big difference. If you could find the serial number tag below the seat. Also depends if it is running/not running, stuck/not stuck, how the sheet metal is, has been stored inside or outside? All play part. But first get the serial number

Chris your "D" is a 1949
I would post it here on Photo Ads
You will get alot of calls
In my part of Indiana they start out
at $1200 runs and go up the better they are.
