John Deere MT Plows

I am going to look at a couple 2 bottom plows for my
MT. What is the difference between the M2, M2a,
MT2 and MT2a plows? Will a plow that was on an M
work on my MT?

Best I remember, they fit on either tractor.

I don't know the difference but from what I have read on here they will not interchange, partly because the MT is a wider tractor being a 2 row cultivating tractor and the M only a single row tractor, I you go to the Deere parts lookup site you can look at the different models and see what each has for part numbers.

Part number 19 on the MT2 is longer as the MT has taller tires on it. You can use an MT2 on the M, but be careful as it will not lift high enough to be above ground on uneven terrain because it us 14 inches longer that the M.
