I have a F370 hydraulic reset plow. It works good. You can set the hydraulic pressure to make it trip easy or real solid.
I was wondering what I should do with it as I am getting ready to retire. I kept it around to plow firebreaks as I have some
fire happy neighbors, and have stopped three fires with it in the last 20 years. The last fire was last fall but I used my
8760 and a 35 foot 1610 chisel pow with the wings up on the prairie fire (it was hooked up and less than a 1/4 mile away).
It has a packer and a pony drill . I use to plow packer and drill a little wheat in and used it to break up a quarter of
rocky central North Dakota virgin prairie. The 6-16 inch bottoms made my 4520 fight for traction breaking the prairie and I
ended up adding a stack of weights on the rear and I hung a Leon dozer on the front with a 10 foot blade. I don't think I
used it over 600 acres all together so it is not wore out. Last spring I put on the new plow shares (5th or 6th set over the
years) that have been in my parts room for 15 years and did plow enough to shine the bottoms up, a six acre strip of grass hay
next to my trees. I know people collect old plows as I have a sulky one bottom and 3,4,and 5 bottom plows also. But they are
all going to go. Is there a demand for these hydraulic reset plows. I have only seen three or four of them and it has been
years.
