I goofed in typing in my name so I"ll re-post this.
I have a new problem, can"t seem to find an answer. I have a friend who"s working on a 1954 JD Model R and is having trouble finding a generator. It"s supposed to have a Delco Remy 1101397, JD # AR856R, and he"s gotten one that was too short and different mounting ears. This is a 2-brush generator with the regulator on top; the 3-brush generator had a cutout but this doesn"t have that. Any ideas who might have such a thing? I"ve been searching the Internet and have a couple of phone numbers but haven"t been able to get ahold of anybody yet.
