John Deere R Question

I would like to drain the (very) old diesel fuel from my 1952 JD R. I am looking for suggestions for the easiest and efficient way to do that. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

How old is old?

It might be better than what you are going to put back in
Unless it is dirty or has water in i would leave it..

agree, 15 year old fuel burns better than this new stuff. i have used 30 year old fuel also. just add some conditioner to it would not hurt.
remember a diesel engine will burn any combustable oil. even vegetable oils.
