John Deere Resurrection Continued!

Hey Guys,

I have posted a couple of times about the John Deere A I have been bringing back from the dead. Here is the 3rd installment. I got the cooling system back together after replacing the radiator. The block was still very rusty so I tried out Evaporust Thermocure to clean it up and it actually worked pretty good. I then got it all together and ran it down the road for the first time in decades to get some heat into it and test it out. Here is the vid for anyone interested!

Looking good!

Not to be picky, but I noticed that at one point you had it standing there idling with the clutch pulled back and the transmission left in gear. Don't ever do that! If something should malfunction in that clutch while the tractor is in gear, it would take off on its own and possibly do major damage. Always put the transmission in neutral and engage the clutch lever and let it sit there that way while it is running.

Otherwise, it looked great!
