Need parts for a John Deere Stackwagon. Any contacts? Paddles mostly and advice!

Here is a link to the JD online parts for the 200/300 Stackwagons. The rotor blades N170811 look to be available from Deere for $57 a pop, looks like it takes 34 of them. That is the old catalog, if you put the parts in your cart it will direct you to the new parts site. It seems to me you need to create an account to get parts prices. I just web searched that part number and the Deere price came up.

My neighbor has a JD model 200 he doesn't use anymore. I can ask him if he would consider selling his paddles. I sold that unit when it was new to a local farmer with around 400 cultivated acres & I doubt it's stacked very many stacks before he passed away.

What is a John Deere stack wagon? I am picturing something like a New Holland Stackliner, but I'm not aware that John Deere ever had such a thing.

It picks up loose hay and makes it into bread loaf- looking hay stacks.

You may have to click Non-sectionalized parts catalog
To make up for that here is a link to get an operators manual.

When it opens click on Model to the left of the box, change it to Part #/Key words. Now you need the serial number of your machine. There are 3 options by serial number ranges for operator's manuals. OMN 159362 for 0 to 3370, OMN159411 for 3371 to 4005, and 0MN159506 for 4006 and after. type in OMN159362. It will pop up. When you find the right one type OMN and number given above to match your serial number. For example if your serial number is between 0 and 3370 then OMN 159362 is what you type in and search. Click the arrow to point down by Op manuals there you can put it in your cart. Also there is a square at the right with the arrow up to the right corner when you click that you can view it. The down arrow with the line under it will down load it to your PC. If you want a technical(repair) manual it is TM1110, those are not free.

Here is a link to one that sold in 2016. Example Stack wagon Hesston originally came out with the idea, strangely the JD machine looked very similar. JD got into some legal trouble with Hesston over patents on the machines.

Some welding shops used to keep a set on hand of rebuilt ones, maybe check around. There were some sitting around Wisner Nebraska and have not moved for a while.

Thanks for the explanations. I do remember the Heston machines. They never caught on in this part of the country. Our climate is too damp.

We sold 1 here at our central Ohio dealership back in the early 70's,,the stacks did not deal with our rainy Ohio weather. The customer never used it much,, I'm not sure what or where it ended up. It seems that they slid apart when moving them on hill ground,,and that customer had very hilly ground. I was thinking that some other company built them for Deere.

McKee made the stack movers for JD. Uncle John built their own designed stacker. Hesston was mad, LOL. Law suit for patent infringement in the early years
