John Deere Technical manual

I went to the local Deere dealer today to order a manual for a John Deere 450C. Didn't think the price would be too bad but turns out it's $250 for a single manual. Is that normal? Or is Deere just really expensive? Any body have one for sale? Also: Does anyone know what kind of oil goes in with the steering clutches, rear end, loader etc? Is it just regular oil? The sticker above the battery is worn off and I can't tell what oil it calls for. TIA

If you don't like that price try buying a factory service manual for a FIAT (New Holland) combine!

The dealer needs a higher markup to pay for all the gifts obammy is giving you for free.
