John Deere Terrace Plow

Looking for information - manual - on a John Deere terrace plow that my father recently purchased. It is mounted on the side of the tractor. It has one big disk (36" or better). It has a wheel that runs parallel to the frontend(steers or turns with the tractor).

I am looking for mounting and operation information and a picture would be great! Has anyone seen a or read about these in a John Deere or realted book? Thank you John

Not 100% sure, but I think it was used to make a small terrace or dam around a rice field to contain the water when the field was flooded.
