John Deere tranny problems

I have a JD 2510 gasser that locked up last week. Was grading the drive and it just locked, no warnings, no prior indication of problems. I can get it in 1st gear, but any other gear will not work, feels like the tires are locked up when I let out on the clutch. Even kills the tractor if I release the clutch when in Park, she just bogs down and dies.

Any ideas on what is wrong / where to start...?

Locking because it is trying to go into 2 gears at the same time....

was it full of hyd/trans oil? Top shaft in trans may have a galled gear or as BushogPapa previously stated be in 2 gears at once.

Fluid was full.
