John Deere unstyled A engine work

I've been reading a lot on here about the options for the 2 bangers, and have a few questions. I have a unstyled a that I woul like to do some engine work on, I was originally going to put a newer crank in it but now am thinking about stroking it. When it comes to stroking it is there any setups that allow th use of the stock rods, what's a good stroke to go with? What are some good places to look at to get a crank stroked? What type of pistons are needed, custom or anything in production?
Thanks in advance

Ask "JDB Puller" at "Extreme" and he will advise you well..
He can lengthen your connecting rods and even make you a new Block..!

I have seen some Early Unstyled JD "A" Pullers with sparkplugs in a new location..installed from the Valve-Cover end of the Block..along either Frame Rail..The originals are just dummies..!

A common setup is 8 x 5.75.
