John Deere wheel weights

What is the part number for wheel weights for my 1948 D. I bought a set of weights last week D2628R. When I got home I found out they do not fit my cast wheels. I have not found the part number in the D parts list. Does anyone have a picture of what the right ones look like?

I don't have the number in front of me, but I'd swear that's what I have bolted onto the '38D with cast centers. Those should fit on your wheels just fine.

I just searched this board for that part number, and it looks like I was right.

That number should fit cast or spoke centers.

Those are the weights I have for my Styled AR with cast centers, and I thought they would also work on a D as well... I could be wrong though.

Wasn't there another type of cast wheel like a Kay Brunner ? maybe you have those ?

According to my un-styled parts list these D2628R weights were used on late un-styled with cast wheels. That maybe is why you have them on a 38.
The ones I have, have the number cast into them.
I was at a show last week and I saw a styled D with weights that were larger in DIA and flatter. I didn't look close enough to find a part number. To late smart.
