Is there a way to check the resistance in the groung wire between genny and regulator? I have checked for continuity and that is fine.
 
Gary......would it surprize you to learn that continuity IS THE CHECK for resistance??? ......respectfully, Dell
 
My policy is simple:fix in this order:free,cheap,anything else.Get a piece of wire and run a new wire.wire is cheap.---lha
 
ditto what lha said.. if the ground wire from genny to vreg, and vreg ref to ground is bad.. just replace it.
