Jubilee hydralic pump

400 bucks, Steiner may have it.Since Vickers made the guts of the pump I would check with a good hydraulic shop.Worn vane pumps wont work with thin 134 fluid. If you are losing lift power when the hydraulic system warms up you have 134 oil in the hydraulic section.

It did not even work in the mid 50s when the oil got hot, that is why there was the upgrade deal to the piston pump at a price everyone should have taken advantage of back then but some did not.

Thanks for the names I will check them out as well as the local hydralic shops. I put G-1 gear oil in this summer and that helped. Now that winter is coming it is to heavy and I need to change back to 134. Just need to get it fixed properly.

Your right to bad more didn't take advantage I would definatly have a cheaper rebuild. Would like to keep it original as its an late 52 serial # but if a piston pump and tubes show up it might be worth it in the long run.

My pump works fine with right oil. The water/oil mixes that many owners use are hard on the vane pump.I see no reason to spend 1500 bucks when 15 bucks worth of the right oil will fix the problem. The original specs for the vane pump were 80 or 90 GL1 gear oil.See page 421 of the Ford Shop Manual.
