Jubilee Hyraulic leak

I have an early Jubilee that I modified the cover plate on so I could run a front blade on it. I have developed a leak through one of the stud bolts that hold the cover in place. I used new o-rings when I made the modification and this particular stud does not have an o-ring to seal it. I also have replaced the o-ring on the front end of the pump that goes back to the resevoir and it still leaks but not as bad. Someone suggested I might have back pressure building up in the case. If so how does one fix it?
