Jubilee toolbox location

devozoo.......the factory NAA Jubilee toolbox was in the LEFT foot running board. And many times rusted out. Dennis Carpenter is making re-pops like OEM. The OEM toolbox is the leftfoot running board. Dunno what YT toolbox yer referring to, but a running board should be intuitively obvious. .....respectfully, Dell

Here's a link to the one I'm talking about....

http://www.ytmag.com/cgi-bin/store/model_parts.cgi?SearchArea=FORD&&md=Jubilee&cat=Sheet%20Metal%20/%20Body%20Parts&r=mcats

just browse down a bit to see it.

The box in the link is a universal tool box, not a Jubilee toolbox. It is made to be fender mounted. The original Jub toolbox was in the running board.

JimNCal was making a SS. weld in replacment toolbox. I don't know if he is doing that anymore.

I can send you a pattern of the toolbox if you want to cut and bend your own. That is what I did, but I had access to a sheet metal brake at the time.

Dennis Carpenter makes a complete replacement running board with toolbox. However the "square diamond plate" used by Ford is not available anymore and the DC running board uses a slightly different pattern of diamonds.

Hope that helps

I've always hated the look of those fender mounted boxes. Looks like $hit on a white chicken to me.
I used to have a bunch of stainless steel blanks for the NAA runningboard toolboxes around but the last batch took so long to sell I figured I had run the market out. I might have 1 or 2 but it'd take a while to even locate them.
I'd be willing to look long and hard before I'd suggest you ruin the lines/look of your Jube with a square pimple on the fender.
