Jumpy 3 Point on 504

How do I stop the 3 point from jumping when in the raised position? I'll drop a couple inches then jump back up.

I forgot to state While under load. I have a grader blade attached.

When it sets with the engine off does the 3 point hold position? It should hold a implement up 3-4 hours at least. If it settles down in a matter of minutes the internal rock shaft cylinder packing is leaking by or the valve.

Sounds like you need to adjust your draft lever some. We had something doing about the same thing. I think we moved the draft lever and solved the problem. Push it towards heavier a bit.
