Just brought home an Excel industries cab, We are going to tear it down clean and paint before mounting on my JD.

Any suggestions as to where I can get the rubber that goes around the glass, Also looking for weather stripping for around the doors.

Not sure, Are there maybe interior kits like for the Hinniker cabs?

Any info appreciated.

Fehr cab interiors is about the only game in town for that kind of stuff. You can always call and ask.

I sincerely doubt there is anything specifically "for" Excel cabs out there, so you'll have to improvise and make do. You can get generic automotive weatherstripping by the foot in many different shapes and styles and automotive upholstery materials by the square yard.

Thank You. I will give Fehr a call.

Check with a local auto glass shop. They should have access to a supplier for glass mounting gasket materials. There are only a few shapes used in the industry, other than specials for automakers. Truck cap, tractor cab, industrial equipment makers usually just pick from a catalog.

We had an auto glass shop near where I worked. We had forklifts, loaders, cranes, you name it, almost all with cabs. We got a rubber mounting from them. As noted, there seemed to be only a few different variations. Some with a separate "zipper" and some not.
