Once a year I work on a college friend's driveway. Part if his driveway is a RR bed for the interurban that ran for Terre Haute to Indy
He
drives in the same tracks creating 2 valleys that trap water and creates potholes.
So I used 7 ft old 10 inch mobile home Ibeam.
I call my experiment a bust. It makes a mess when I turn around leavings rock on road. Then if I have enough loose rock the mower wheels spin as you can see in the pic.
Not my idea of the best way to level a driveway.
May think of making it small but will still create a mess turning. I'll need a way to lift Ibeam to turn around.
If you have a way to lift Ibeam please post pic
