Just wonderin if....

It"s good to see the V8 classes comming around. Vintage tractors but with modern safety upgrades. It reminds me of pulling in the 60"s and 70"s. What does everyone think about creating a vintage "super stock" class. Maybe cubic in limit, single turbo, but with modern safety equiptment. I know some will say just run with the modern supers, but i"d like to see the older stuff come out of mothballs. Just wonderin...

Something like this in the link below? Problem we had in the M was keeping gears in it. A heck of a lot of fun to pull, but you get to a point where the fun gets sucked out of it when you're fixing it often. Motor is headed into a 706 rear and hopefully will be ready to go next year. Really hate to loose the looks of an M compared to that of the 706, but hopefully wrench time will be down and pull time will be up. Plus more classes to pull as not too many places to pull without a stock block or at least same number of cylinders. There's another M in the area with a 466 in it, and at one time a Case 400 with a 451 in it.
