Is a KB5 a 2 ton or 1.5 ton? Got a chance to pick one up to make a tractor hauler out of. Will it haul a M Farmall?

I always thought they were ton and half like F6 fords, 4400 chevys and such of that era.

I own a 1948 kb5 and it doesn't real specify what it is on the tittle . It should handle an M , but keep in mind it's only 85 HP with that 6 flathead . Are you pulling the M on a trailer of loading it on the truck ? Either way you probably need to purchase enough licence plate to be legal .
