Just bought a Kobelco Sk60 Midi excavator. Any have insight on good or bad of these machines. Some I have talked to feel Kobelco rivals Cat as far as performance , just lack marketing and support.

I've had one for 6 or 7 years. Like it better than Cat E70B. Controls seem to be more natural. Just put a new track on one side, only thing had to do to it & it was wore out when I got the machine. If I was allowed only one machine on the farm, SK60 would be it. Used to unload round bales off the trailer with it, two at a time. From a bank, come up alongside trailer til blade hit end of close bale, clamp with bucket reaching over the end of the second bale, lift blade & boom at same time til cleared trailer & swing the boom 180 degrees & haul'em off.
