Yesterday's Tractor Forums
I have a 1978 L225, and the hydraulics, transmission, and rear end all share the same fluid reservoir. I assume yours might be similar.
On mine, you pull out a filler bolt and you should see fluid. It is located on the left-front of the transmission, above the clutch petal.
