Have a 7030 DTSU i think thats the letters. It has a PTO change lever on the left side of transmission under the seat. My question is in the down position I know it is a 540 RPM, is the up postion 1000RPM or something different?? nver heard of anything but 540 and 1000 but just wondering. Thanks, Chad

I have a M7040 and the control to the left of the drivers seat is the 4WD control. Down is out and up is in 4WD. My PTO control is on the right side fender and is either in or out, 540 rpm's only. I know that some larger tractors have an option of 1000rpm's. I am not familiar with an M7030 so this is probably not alot of help.

I'm not following what your saying. The only thing under the seat is for hydraulic flow. The pto should be on the left side below the pto clutch beside the 4wd and optional creep gear if it's anything like a 6030. I don't think they were even available with 1000 pto
