LA carb right?

I have a 1946 LA and it has a TSX 147 carburetor on it. Is this original for this tractor ?? What kit will fit it ?? Thanks

Is your LA elecrtic start or just hand start? Battery? Lights?

The TSX60 I believe is for the models without lights, but with elecrtic start.

The TSX 85 is for a tractor with elecrtic start and bettery/lights.

The TSX90 is for a tractor without elecrtic start, lights, or a battery.

One difference is having the correct hook ups for the starter rod and choke lever from the drivers seat or not. Not quite sure what a TSX147 goes to, and it may work, but it isn't one of the original carbs listed for any of the L's, LA's, or LI's.

The TSX carbs were all relatively the same in my eyes. I have a strange 200 series TSX carb that looks just like the TSX85 but with a different linkage for the choke cable. I have had a hard time finding a listing to show what it should fit. I would try calling any carb. repair shop and see if they have a kit they recommend. The kit's are not too expensive if you don't need a float so ordering one for the 60, 85, or 90 may work out as well.
