LA carb

Working on a Case LA that is starving for fuel, opened up the drain in the bottom of the carb and found a steady stream of gas flows out so I striped down the carb and noticed the hole in the idle jet is about 1/32" at one end and 5/64" at the other and was wondering if this is normal. Seems like any spec of crud would easily clog this jet.

I had a similar problem, and changed the needle valve!
