LA Case starter

Anyone know the spec # for Autolite starter I believe starts with MAB I need an armature for mine and of
course the name tag is gone off mine. The tag on DC starter is MAB 4105 same size nose cone and
bore size and length but starter body smaller diameter than the LA.

If I go and clean snow off today i will try to snap a pic of a starter tag , not sure this # is correct for what you want, where they do not show a parts break down on them I assume this should be the tag number listed

Can't help, but when my LA starter quit and I took it to the starter shop in town, the 2 old guys said they could not believe how well it was made.
They said if they had to design a starter, that was what they would build.
It was an Autolite starter.

My old Wilson catalog says armature # for LA ML2035A.
Same ML2035A is used in Massey 55, 555K and 555LP 6 volt.

NE Wyoming I am sure I have a good starter for one also,, but shipping would be ugly, we got about 6" last night

9F air temp at teh moment they say now only -1F tonight

Thanks for info repair guy I took to said need an armature but he said his source couldn’t supply one thanks will try a couple other suppliers or tractor wrecker

Paul , the Wilson part # is C4 for your ML2035a. C4 is old numbering system for Wilson and I can't convert it to new Wilson #. Ebay has a ML2035 (no A) for sale but I don't know if that would work for you. It lists a bunch of applications ML2035 but my Wilson catalog is too new.
