la case

ive got an la case that i got pretty cheap and is in good shap however there is a hairline crak in the transmission on the bottom side. will it be ok as long as i seal it up somehow? sealing brazeing etc?

J B weld seems to work pretty good. Make sure you don't have any water in the oil, especially if you live in a cold climate. I had a parts tractor that got alot of water in it through the shift lever. It froze over the winter and cracked underneath.
