Who manufactures the Land Pride ZTR mowers? There is a used one for sale locally that is of interest; it is a ZXT Pro model if that makes any difference. Does anyone have any first hand experience with one?

Interesting thing, their site page for ZTR mowers is empty, like they are no longer available? Given their location I wouldn't be at all surprised if they were contracted to one of the mid-Kansas mower makers, like Hustler. Could be that Kubota didn't care for that arrangement, just conjecture on my part.

Per your link, on the "Divisions" page they say they are a member of the Kubota family and further down are a maker of Kubota branded construction equipment and attachments.
Yes, Kubota bought them out a few years ago. I believe they did make attachments for Kubota before the buy out. Whether they are just under the umbrella of Kubota or if Kubota took over manufacturing, I have no idea.

The Land Pride zero turn was made by Hustler for several years.

I had a ZTR 52" that I bought used maybe 10 years ago, the dealer told me it was light commercial. 18HP IIRC and was easy on gas. The only problem I had was the plastic belt pulleys would need replaced at times. Lap bars don't work well on my steep hills so I run a Cub ProZ 700S (steering wheel) 72" now, it sticks to the slopes.

Great Plains has/had manufacturing facilities around Salina, KS. Drive by there all the time. Big sign in front of main plant says Kubota.

My 2 cents worth. I was an OPE dealer until 2008. Traded in a Land Pride AccuZ 52 with 20 hp Honda around 2004. The early mowers were made by Exel Industries ( Hustler ). I think they were built there for about 10 years. Ariens took over making the L P's until Kubota took possession of Land Pride. The origional Accu Z's were the gold L P color. The later, Ariens units, were painted red.
Hustler corresponding product. called Fastrak, is still in production. They were marketed as Residential/Light Commercial use.
I'm still using that trade-in and it's been a pretty good mower. Parts may be available through Kubota (or the early one's) from Hustler.
