What is the horsepower to land plane width ratio? Or recommended size for a 3010 JD. These are small fields 1 to 3 acres.

10 ft is plenty. I pulled a Eversman 329 with a very healthy 60 horse SuperM for years. When you get a 'mouthful' it will put it to its knees. I now pull a Eversman 4012 with a Turbo 706.The old Eversmans were mostly 9Ft. 289,329... The JD 930 was also 9' wide. Newer ones are wider.Eversman 3212,4012,4512;JD 940(12'). There are new 3 points that are up to 24' wide. But you need a BIG tractor for those.
