Later model steps on a 1070

Older neighbor's hips are causing him problems and he can't climb into his 1070 anymore. Anyone fabbed up later model steps onto a 1070 or so?

Look around for a set of steps from a 410 or 510 Massy combine or other brand. Ready made hand rails and better steps.

I cut the existing steps off, turned the steps towards the front of the tractor about
20 degrees, and welded the steps back on to a plate of steel and then back to the
mount. Then we hung a cable hung step to the bottoms so that the first step was
not so high. I also extended the step out a couple of inches with bar grating so
there was more of a step to place your foot on. The farmer that I did that for had
no arms. So he needed all the extra footing to keep his balance as he went up
into the tractor. He has passed on and the tractor sold. So I have no pictures.
