latest storm damage

last Wed. night to Thurs. morning. Huge red oak limb went down in the hay field. Of course this happened just before I cut hay, so I just mowed around it instead of mashing down hay. I started cleaning up 3 days ago. The limb shown in the first picture is 26 inches in diameter. The last picture shows where it came from approximately 30 ft up. I hired a young man to help. Couldn't have done it without him.

This chestnut oak came down Saterday night across my dam.
Gonna have to cool of a bit before I deal with it.

It is a Magnatrac 8000. They are made in Wisconsin. It is very handy for woods work, and pushing brush. Ellis

Yeah, we had some storm damage here too. I used my grapple bucket to get most all of the limbs moved. With my aching back, the fact we don't burn wood in the house anymore, the grapple comes in real handy. By the way, is that a Kubota lurking in your shed? Making the old IH's jealous? I bought a M7040 last year, replacing the CIH485. And then Kubota moves up to Alexandria! Augusta was closer! Mark.
